My life is filled with music. A claim that a lot of people make these days. But I try to make mine more true.
From dancing to the tunes of Buddy Holly at age 2 to starting classical guitar at age 9, my parents laid the foundation for a life filled with music. My music genes mainly come from my mother, I guess. A lot of musicians on that side of the family. Check out my cousin, Stefan Willems.
Nowadays, I'm still playing classical guitar, and since age 15 or so I've been playing the electric guitar too. Now I still go to music school every saturday, for Jazz class, after which I go to the rehearsal of the band I play in.
And last but not least, I started making music on my computer since age 17. At first I was using fruityloops, nowadays I'm using Reason, Ableton Live!, and sometimes Renoise.
Anyways, don't ask me what music hits the radio these days. I simply don't know. For an overview of my musical taste, check my last.fm account.
